In 2022, I was hired by SDV Services to spearhead the rebranding of their construction company. Their original branding had remained unchanged since their establishment in 2011, and the client was eager to breathe fresh life into their image, all while preserving the hallmark elements that included their distinctive flag and soldier motifs, as well as their signature colors.
As they are a service-disabled veteran-owned business, my objective was to craft a new brand identity that exuded patriotism, professionalism, and a sense of order. While retaining the iconic red as their primary brand color, I introduced a complementary palette featuring a soft and welcoming shade of grey, coupled with an approachable blue.
This transformative branding endeavor not only brought a revitalized identity to SDV Services but also reinforced their enduring commitment to excellence in the construction industry.
ORIGINAL LOGO
In the logo redesign, the client insisted on preserving the original soldier and keeping an American flag but wanted the new logo to feel modern and professional. To achieve this, I made refinements to the soldier's proportions, lending it a contemporary and more lifelike appearance. Additionally, I introduced dynamic movement to the flag and incorporated a sleek, robust typeface. The result is a versatile logo that embodies the essence of the business, adaptable for both vertical and horizontal applications.
