Art Direction for the next@90 festival campaign trailer for San Francisco Ballet, working in collaboration with BSSP for campaign art direction. The challenge was to create an engaging trailer for the festival using only rehearsal footage and campaign images without any budget for a video shoot.

To overcome this challenge, I came up with a creative solution of turning the rehearsal footage black and white, to provide visual consistency and applying a heavy blur to the campaign images to use as overlays, in order to create a seamless transition between the two types of assets.

The project also involved photography by Alexis Cuarezma and video editing by Alexander Irwin. The end result was a dynamic and captivating festival trailer that effectively showcased the next@90 festival, generating interest and excitement among viewers.
